GOV.OM Design System
Building a Unified, Arabic-First Digital Foundation for Oman’s Government
Client:
MTCIT
Scope:
Design System
Year:
2023-2026
The GOV.OM Design System was created to unify digital experiences across Oman’s government platforms. As ministries evolved their services independently, inconsistencies in interface patterns, accessibility standards, and development workflows began to impact usability and scalability.
I contributed to building and expanding the unified design system, defining components, patterns, and token structures that enable consistency across entities while supporting Arabic-first and RTL requirements. The system bridges design and engineering through structured documentation, scalable architecture, and AI-enabled workflows that accelerate component creation and implementation.
By aligning visual language, accessibility standards, and reusable components under one governance model, the design system provides a shared foundation for ministries to deliver cohesive, accessible, and future-ready digital services at national scale.
